Joining our umbrella service is easy. If you’re switching from an existing umbrella provider, simply request your P45 from your previous umbrella company and we can get the ball rolling. If you’re new to contracting we can explain the whole process.

How does an umbrella company work?
An umbrella company is an employer for professionals that work on contract assignments through a recruitment agency, or directly with the end client. Working on contracts can bring lots of paperwork and administration, which can distract from the benefits of contracting such as flexibility and higher pay.
When you are employed by Torus you simply send us your timesheets each week. We will request money from your agency or end client, deduct any NICs and tax due, then pay you the same day. It’s that simple!
